Start sorting photos with one event
Use a small group of pictures to decide how you want to find memories later.
Editorial sample — awaiting final review.
This is a review sample. Exact album and backup steps depend on the app and device you use.
Choose a small event
Select pictures from one trip, meal, or gathering. Give the group a name you would search for later, such as “spring picnic.”
Separate sorting from deletion
Start by grouping pictures. Before deleting originals or changing cloud copies, check where the files are stored and whether another copy exists.
Keep meaningful differences
Two similar pictures may capture different people or details. Compare them deliberately instead of treating every similar image as disposable.
Write down the naming choice
Use the same kind of event name for the next album. A consistent name can be more helpful than creating a deep folder tree.
